LOA was a super anticipated MMO since 2014 due to G-star 
In the early days, Saintone, Sywo, T-Party Perci, Koleverii, Lechko, AhnByungChan and many others were the ''OG'' Lost Ark english speaking content creators.
These people average'd a couple hundred viewers at best during that time, and their chats were just filled with a few regulars who knew each other pretty well.

An Arcana main originally, he was the main english content creator of the game, making many of the OG guides to the game for players who played on KR, RU and JP
To say he ''owes'' his success to the game is an understatement.
He did put in a TON of work into making content there's no undermining effort here, and while he was generally an arrogant prick, he was generally and is still a fairly ''objective'' person when it comes to Lost Ark.
Because he played on KR and his revenue wasn't mainly from AGS, he was pretty outspoken on the game's issues without much backlash.
He actually quit his job to pursue streaming BECAUSE Lost Ark's launch was a huge success and his stream popped off during that time. (You can check his twitter)

He started playing LOA on RU servers, and saintone would raid him almost exclusively after every stream.
Shortly after, Zealsambitions joined as a ''hustler'' content creator, because of living in KR, he had the advantage of being able to make content really early, thus getting a huge audience.

Unlike Zealsambitions and Saintone, Stoopzz would gaslight, make fun of and laugh at ANY and all criticisms to this game.
From Argos being released too early and halving the playerbase in a matter of a single update, to the pheongate being downplayed as ''you guys just need to go outside!'' while this clown's ''job'' is playing video games, he tries to appear ''unbothered'' to downplay ANY criticism.
This guy could have EASILY done a lot of positive change to this game had he stopped with the damage control job, he met with Sorim Caster irl and had dinner with her, interviewed Captain Jack
And is pretty much what the KR community perceives as the ''global community's opinion''
When you have that big of an influence and an audience, at least use it for the better.
This will all get dismissed as ''its Smilegate's fault'' or ''AGS is at fault'' but the truth is that complaining works.
The subreddit melting down caused us to get balance patch a month earlier because they ''magically'' figured out a solution to bring us the patch earlier, ''base builds'' aren't a problem when revenue/PR is at stake.
Inven rioting causes emergency livestreams, revenue drops, and a lot of other change.
While KR players are MOSTLY happy with how lost ark is, western players aren't and the player numbers show.
I don't care if its a thursday, the truth of the matter is that we've been losing players month after month.
You can feel it in game, you can feel it when queuing up for a guardian raid.

You have to keep in mind that even with 13k players on wednesdays, HALF of our numbers are bots/alt rosters gold farms.
These issues are in EVERY single industry, far outside of gaming.
The more people say this is fine the worse it gets for everyone.
Pay to win was never a thing in gaming until some fkn idiot thought hey that horse mount being locked behind 5 bucks isn't an issue and then microtransaction hell became a thing in the gaming industry.
Subscription hell where every fkn thing has a subscription wasn't a thing until people were fine with not owning their products
Streaming, music, video games, your CAR has a fucking subscription for HEATING.
People are out here hacking their own car they paid tens of thousands of dollars for because companies want to monetize everything.
This dystopia we live in where the vast majority of people are in a state of apathy about their privacy, their time, their money is perfectly reflective of this subreddit.

A mix of AGS employees and gold sellers panic downvoting any post that isn't fake positivity because if people perceive the game negatively their profits go down.
If a potential returning player or new player checks this reddit and sees a bunch of negative posts they're less likely to get into the game, less likely to ''swipe/rmt'' the artificially generated problems away.
RMT sites make hundreds of thousands of dollars since this game's release, if not millions
At this point half the community RMT's or has friends or knows people that do
I've had posts that got downvoted the MINUTE I post them, comments go from +20 upvotes to -15 in a matter of HOURS.
That's not a bot problem, there's people who are paid to tell you everything is fine

Hopefully you've saved up enough cash from all the AGS sponsors to be able to withstand the drop in viewership once LOA is completely gone from the western market, cause we all know your entire stream's success was because of santoni constantly raiding you at the end of his stream during LOA RU days when you were a 200 viewer WOW pvp andy who grifted to a PVE MMO cause you knew it was an anticipated MMO for the past 8 years at that point.
