Scene 4
🧩 Syntax:
[09:45] Through a quick ferry did the trio find themselves on Nemea's soil. Adrian let out a "Pah." of excitement as he'd begin to lead to the south, a little hop in each of his steps! The night sky glistened above them, his eyes sparkling with glee as they'd reach around the corner.
"Nearly there."
His eyes peel away from the sky and ground themselves, soon the trio coming up to a rather large hole in the ground. Multiple feet deep in the middle and roughly fifteen feet in diameter.
"This is my hole!"
He'd announce with way too much glee placed behind such words. He, proud of each and ever step they had taken in getting all of this slowly working away.
"Well! Hah! It's not just going to be a hole!" Adrian neared the man-made hole's edge. "One moment." He'd skid down the edge of crater, and within the dirt kicked loose some rocks to expose a further hole.
"This here is the groundwork for a pool blessed by the Gods themselves." At least some of them.
"I intend to use it as a ritual ground, as well as just an outdoor communal space. The water, a natural mirror to reflect Gala's might from the Heavens above and bring them here."
"Into the Domain of Nemea." He'd explain,
"Now, the inside of this hole needs to be lined with basically a make-shift bowl. I wish for your help on this part, Arnet."
"I intend to use Eternite mixed with regular stone to create... bricks? I'm not sure! What do you think ?" His hands extend out from the middle of the crater! The secondary hole not yet explained.
(Adrian Alinteau)

[09:47] Grath asks, "Could anyone spare me some Rabbit Feet by any chance?"
[09:47] Adrian Alinteau says, "Don't have any on me! "
[09:47] Arnet Dawnseeker says, "That's all I have."
[09:47] Adrian Alinteau says, "The rabbits are right outside of Delphina."
[09:48] Grath says, "Hm'. Got it! Thank you everyone, for your time."
[09:54] The young boy would stumble into Dal'Thala, not really expecting much, he was tired from handling all his errands so he figured he'd take a little break before continuing back home to Londo. However something would catch his eye while passing through.
To his surprise he'd see his cousin Adrian climbing out of a hole, he hadn't seen him a while so it came as a bit of a surprise seeing him randomly emerge from the large hole but, not alone, two others were with him and one of them was none other that Arnet!
Another person he hadn't seen in a while.
"W-what the heck? Uncle Adrian? Miss Arnet? What are you two doing crawling out of this oddly placed hole?!"
He'd then look around for a moment as he began to take notice of the fact that this may have been something that didn't request much eyes or attention.
So adjusting his tone, he'd inch closer to the three and whisper
"A-are you guys on a secret spy operation by any chance?!"
(Syn Mikos)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[10:26] The Hole.
Arnet rose a brow at it, did he dig this all alone? The woman moved to the edge of it, moving a hand to dismiss the rocks on the way as she descended as well to stare around and listen to the Alinteau's ideas.
"A pool then- Like a healing pond?" Okay, it was more complex than that, there were a few nods as the woman judges the structure... She was no expert on pools, but at least on earth, she was.
"Sounds a good idea, if you are looking to work with something more 'divine', Austereia and Eternite seems to be the best for that, making bricks shouldn't be too hard, just delicate work to be resistant and be able to hold the magic capacity of the pool."
"But, yes. I can help to make a nice structure for this don't worry." She gave a light smile and nodded.
"Should I start already?"
(Arnet Dawnseeker)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[10:29] Adrian Alinteau says, "One moment."
[10:36] A healing pond.
What a crude oversimplification in the best way possible, because at its core that is exactly what it was going to be. At least on its surface level. Adrian simply wished for a beginning structure which he may build upon in the future.
What its true capabilities may become were still unknown. For Adrian was an agent of rolling with the flow. He wanted something to work on while he strengthened his mind and resolve before returning to the field. Its true purpose something that will show itself with time.
"Aye." He'd finally say,
"That is sort of what I am going for!" Indeed it was, yet hopefully it'd hold a little more pizzazz to it all once it is all constructed.
"I- I do not have much Austereia to spare. None, infact. Yet Eternite is of a plenty. Yet, from my previous project I learned that there is no need to pour all the resources into it. It's the intent of said materials within the grand scale of things. Yet, Austeria would be nice, I will admit." He'd pause briefly.
"I wonder if simply scattering the metal's dust within these bricks would be enough?" He'd pose a question towards them, afterall they'd know best.
"But it is as you say, the most important part is to allow for the divine qualities of the body to contain that which is sacred." He'd lean forward, lightly gesturing towards the secondary hole within.
"The filter will be here, at a later stage. A way to recycle and reuse the water so that the divine attribute retain themselves. I plan on finding a way to source the waters from Mount Pavonis and bring them here."
Only the finest was his thought process behind it.
"And yes - We can begin now. What do you need to start? I have lots of loose ore that we can repurpose for stone. That's how nature works, right?" He'd let out alight laugh.
(Adrian Alinteau)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[11:16] "Austereia can be an issue yeah. It's nice, but not a necessity, no need to kill yourself over chasing ores. And well... If we use Eternite as a powder and place it in a mixture of molten ores and ores, we can get some bricks that have a little bit of Eternite in all of them, which will most likely create the connection you are looking for."
The woman looked at the secondary hole, nodding slightly, a filter had its good use, and probably would keep the pond clean, but to get the source of water... "You can use the long, but easy way... Call some of the water magi you can get some healing potions to feed their mana and make a single trip bringing some water."
"Or... Mm... Maybe you can pick a little water and find a way to multiply it? Some mechanism with water crystals... It probably would be quite difficult to create an artificial water nascent."
"Well, let me first..."
The woman moved a hand, and then another, the stones and earth moving like clay with her gestures, the shape of the hole got more symmetrical, and its structure more 'right', something more sculped than dug with a shovel, a more steady thing, and the same went to the secondary hole, making something that could fit a filter.
And with a jump or two, Arnet left the hole, fixing some little mistakes on her own technique, before nodding at Adrian. "That should do as a start."
"But yes, we could use what you have to melt it and mix it with Eternite."
(Arnet Dawnseeker)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[11:20] Adrian Alinteau says, "-"
[11:20] Volt Ignis tilts it's head.
(Volt Ignis)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[11:27] "Hah... I don't know how I missed it. I've been hoarding materials for years now and it seems like it's the one that constantly slips out of my grasp." Adrian shrugged briefly, there were always work arounds for these sorts of things so there truly was no need to have it weigh any true consequence.
"Well... When I was first planning this, my best friend was learning Wayfinding. I was going to offer him an opportunity to prove his mastery by setting up a very small permanent path to traverse the water here. It would most likely do something mystical to it too, bringing it through the life-stream itself." Another part of the filtering process that would be incorporated at a later stage.
"But that can all wa-" The ground rumbled as everything began to neaten up. The rough shapings of the hole created by him and Lorelai finding something more solid and designed. Even this small amount of polishing it started to look better.
For it wasn't not just a hole, it was now becoming the hole. The big and final one that will house all of the foundations.
He'd clap his hands once, gleaming. "Ah! It's looking wonderful, Arnet!" These words followed by three distinct nods.
"Alright, so we are mixing all the stone together.. Now, I wonder if we can achieve something like an... artificial marble?" His brow wiggled. "It is created under slow cooling of magma with residue of some metal within it.. Right?" He'd recall his brief geography class in school, but he could be mistaken.
It has been many years.
"But yes-yes... Let me go grab the things... I wonder, maybe we can make the stone -in- the hole already?" There wasn't anything serious to lose in there just yet. A project of the earth should probably stay within it.
As Adrian turned to fetch things and bobs - there stood a bird.
Blink. Blink.
"Huh," An idea popped into his mind. It seems that they have found a potential candidate to be a natural furnace to whatever Arnet and Adrian were up to!
"Hail!" Adrian smiled, taking a step forward.
"Can you commune, firebird?"
(Adrian Alinteau)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[11:29] Volt Ignis had paused as it was called upon. Turning toward the Alintaeu with a brief, passing of curiosity.
Once the query was posed, he would speak in kind.
"I am Volt Ignis, Beast King of the Bestial Dominion. I assume... given my conversations with Camino he must not have informed his people of such. No matter, however..."
It appraises the man then shifts itself as embers wafted from it's form.
"Your answer has been given, whom are you? As well as why do you seek to garner my attention?"
(Volt Ignis)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[11:34] Meridia D. Vespera says, "Everywhere. I swear."
[11:36] Volt?
Beast King?
It seems that Adrian had hit the jackpot today. Depending on how the King of the glades took to his next words he may find that same thing.
"Ah, no he has not. Yet that does not excuse me for negligence." The crown of Adrian's head lowered itself in an earnest respect for nature and its natural course.
"I am Adrian Alinteau, a Radiant of one of the Primordials said to aided in the birth of your kind." He'd give a light pause, unmoving before continuing.
"And well, I call because I wasn't aware of your titles or nature. Yet now that you are here, perhaps your grace would be willing to aid?" Adrian took a suspenseful step towards the extremely large hole to the south of them.
"This here is being built in the light of Nemea and Gala to be a celestial Wellsprings on these lands. An agent to heal, but more importantly cleanse."
"If my hunch and research proves correct, it is my belief that given time there could be a way to truly purify demon-kind to the more glorious title of Mana Beast."
"A true part of nature, its course and flow." Adrian has come to accept the Mana Beasts as equals within the world, for all life unturned from the stars was as important to him.
(Adrian Alinteau)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[11:42] It's wings would keep a steady, yet idle pace in their beat. From then, he listened to the Alinteau with a level yet calm mind. Curious at the hole that he had seen prior in passing but more with more scrutiny in this case.
He would finally turn his attention back toward the man.
"I see. Adrian, of Delphina. What exactly is it you feel I can aid with. I do not dig holes, let alone this fact of my kind... I don't see a reason to aid you, my friendship with this.. Camino, unfortunately does not extend to his people. I in turn respect his words of keeping harm away from those here as he in turn keeps harm away from my growing kin."
It's points made, yet something else would be brought to light.
"What exactly am I to gain from aiding you in this endeavor you're going on with? My current need, is... Season Wine or Pop Fizzy, as the Humans call them. Outside of this, I've not much reason to do anything here, am I wrong?"
Then, it waits expectantly. All while flame finally fade into wafting smoke from it's form and nostrils atop it's beak.
(Volt Ignis)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[11:50] Adrian's hands cupped before him, palms gently rubbing against one another as they spoke. He was quite used to speaking to royalty, yet the Beast before him was a different type of imposing. He didn't know why exactly, as of yet..
"Well, the biggest reason to help is because there is no reason." He'd smile, "I extend an arm to you, a stranger and somebody simply passing by to ask for your aid in my life's work. My ask, is an extension of trust and a test of your own fortune."
"To aid with no benefit is to dine on one's acknowledgments and truths. For it feels nice to be nice." His head bobbed from left to right.
"In general, you don't really have to help me at all. You were passing by, I thought I'd invite you to join. Although, I am not one to keep someone's time if they do not want to be here." A light shrug escaped the holy man.
"But no, no fizzy pop from me I'm afraid." He'd eye the bird for a moment... Squinting briefly.
"It is fine, though. I am sure that a regular furnace will burn just as hot as your flames." He'd innocently smirk, smiling brightly towards the beast.
(Adrian Alinteau)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[11:54] Volt Ignis was not amused, yet he would play into the game of provocation.
"Mm.. I could show you what burns hotter, mind I am in a good mood. I will aid your... efforts for the time being."
A glance is given to the woman nearby.
"What is her purpose here in your... hole?"
He asks, aiming to find out whom is doing what.
(Volt Ignis)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[12:01] Blink, blink.
"Provocation? Please, no-no!" Adrian's brows fall apologetically, while he did mean to press on the Beasts' pride just a little, to provoke them was not on his agenda.
Yet upon it agreeing, Adrian took the first step. He'd look past the beast towards the house across the street. There hanging up some laundry were maids of the Alinteau home. Upon seeing their Lord's signal, they scurried away for one purpose or another.
"Now that all the stuff is on the way.." He'd turn to the hole!
"We are making..." Adrian dramatically paused, turning to the beast! "Stone!" He'd nod three times. "Arnet here is our earth-expert. While you, our guest Beast King are the expert on the glorious flame." Doing this outside with Volt's help was probably for the best.
Thank Gala they already had a perfect hole.
As Adrian continued to explain, three workers of the house returned. Each carrying a heavy box of ores that they left before them. They had a perfect pile of stone and dirt from the excavation process and the ores were to enhance and build into it.
"You melt.
She controls the cooling and formation of veins of crystal and colour.
I compress with my Aether."
All a delicate dance that would form a unique stone from which the brick of the springs was to be built from.
(Adrian Alinteau)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[12:06] Adrian Alinteau asks, "Does that work for you, Arnet?"
[12:06] Listening to the process he took a moment to glance at the stone and ores before him. Then as Adrian finished his explanation he gave a slow nod in waiting.
(Volt Ignis)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[12:15] Ozarath Matideos would encroach upon the triagle of merry-men-and-bird and look into the hole - and then to the three.
(Ozarath Matideos)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[12:29] A brow would be raised at the large bird for a moment before the woman nodded at it.
"I'm Arnet Dawnseeker. I have a few titles but right now, I'm 'the Geomancer who knows what she is doing'. which... Yet, we will melt it and make the powder of the Eternite to make every brick."
As the stones came by, Arnet nodded at the workers, looking at the boxes, the woman held one of the stones seeming to analyze it, before turning to the other two, 'kicking' the earth with an ankle, a 'bowl' of sone would quickly raise from within, Arnet's mana was pored into it to make it a little more resistant. Soon enough the stones were poured onto the bowl, and some waves of her hands seemed to 'polish' the stones, removing dirt or anything that could make what would be their bricks 'ugly'.
"So. You will heat it, King Volt, until it melts to a point I can 'mix it with the powder. Something steady please." She squinted at the Alintau who underestimated the power of the creature. She could laugh, deep down she wanted to, but melting things was a delicate process. "Adrian will compress with his Aether..."
"And in the end, I guess I can fit it into the walls, making it brick-shaped..."
"Yeah. That sounds good enough."
(Arnet Dawnseeker)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[12:30] Adrian Alinteau says, "Wonderful, please Beast King Volt. You first."
[12:30] Adrian Alinteau exclaims, "Once the rock is molten, I will step in!"
[12:35] Volt Ignis looked from one, to the other. As he had already began building a steady flame within his being. Rumbling from his chest until a thin stream of concentrated flame would be channeled over the stones in question and the like.
Eyes of the Beast would flourish with flame. Their wings remaining constant in it's motions as the large Owldrake was airborne for the process at hand. The temperature around it was higher than usual, yet nothing overbearing. Idly, it continued the processing of the stone as all was done so it would become heated.
However they wished to mold such would be paced as he continued his role in this project.
(Volt Ignis)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[12:43] And so brief introductions rolled into the work necessary to move things into the next step. The plan had been laid out before them and now it was time for action.
Arnet was first, carefully polishing and cleaning every stone and ore to its pristine condition. Preparing them for the next step,
The concentrated heat from the King of Beasts that began to bubble and toil at the ingredients added to the furnace. The heat bellowed out, beads of sweat forming on his forehead as the turn came to him.
His hands came before him as the quiver of life radiated out from him. The semblance of Aether bubbled out in a curling mist that formed into a thick gloop at the tip of his fingers. This black semblance, mesmerised in a celestial texture ebbed closer and joined onto the flames.
Aether, pressure in itself began to apply to the heat. The rock and ore undergoing metamorphosis under artificial conditions as Adrian pushed together the very molecules into forming something new.
He had learned many useful applications of Aether in his time, this was one of them.
"Gah... Alright.." As he'd pull away, a thick layer of Aether remained on the rock below...
"Mm, alright Arnet. Brick time!" The final step for today.
(Adrian Alinteau)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[12:56] Llevara Mikos says, "Giant hole."
[13:08] Saturn Yarrow says, "What the heck."
[13:09] The rocks being properly heated to the point of melting and being movable received a nod when the point to the Aether came and Adrian was quick to show his mastery over such delicate mana, pouring it into the molten rocks, which would absorb it slowly.
Meanwhile, the pieced of Eternite here placed onto another bowl by Arnet, she tapped her chin once, working with these more special ores was always difficult work, she discovered it when she first started to mess with ores, how to reshape them was difficult... To break them and keep the properties was much more.
Yet, fortunately, that would certainly not be the first time she would be doing it. letting her mana sap into the ores, she made all ingots connect as one before her mana started to go through it in a more 'aggressive' way, cracks starting to open more and more between the ores, and the number increased as she closed the hand that seemed to control such mana. When it came to the point of her hand being closed in a fist, the eternity ingots were crushed into a thin powder that he had to keep her focus to fully control.
Now, the powder was finally poured into the molten rock slowly, the Geomancer making the molten rocks move so all parts of it would have the power, making it quite 'sparkly'.
"Alright, now- Careful everyone."
Moving her both hands, the molten mixture would raise, still heated, Arnet had to be quick and precise before it solidified. So, the mixture was placed against the walls of The hole, its shaping starting to appear as the mixture slowly solidified, small white-colored bricks, almost like marble decorated the whole thing as if someone had placed each little brick carefully into the main and the secondary hole.
Arnet sighed, looking at it. "It still is hot as hel, so I don't recommend you to jump in, Adrian... But should be fine now!"
Of course, from there, one could feel both the essence of the Aether and the properties of the Eternite.
(Arnet Dawnseeker)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[13:10] Arnet Dawnseeker says, "Now it is a fancy hole in the way."
[13:14] There was a point in that sequence wherein the large hole just north of the southern Dal'Thalan treeline was filled with a manner of molten substance.
Saturn takes this opportunity to retrieve a sugarcap mushroom from within the confines of his pocket and toss it in so that he might watch it melt, or burn.
(Saturn Yarrow)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[13:21] The bubbling mass of rock and ore that they had created was soon a molten earthly soup, stone at its more primal before the other elements have their whims at it. With the careful application of his own Aether to condense the participles now the final step was added.
The fine shimmering's of Eternite, crushed by Arnet to act as the only truly infused metal within. The mixture only cooled a little before the powder was added in, and soon the hiss of metal soothed itself as it fused with the bubble mixture.
"Alright no-"
He was expecting a more traditional approach to brick-laying. Yet, part of the benefit of having such an accomplished geomancer working with him was that such a substance was of relative ease for her to conduct. It moulded before her, like a bubbling lethal clay that spread to all of the sides of 'The Hole'.
It oozed in, filling every craves before a final push of her magic to give it the texture... "Ah, as it cools I feel like the brick may melt a little bit.. But no worries! This is something I can clean up later." He'd nod a few times.
"I will keep watch over it so nobody jumps in, I need to do some meditating any-"
Pop. Pzzzt. The glowing mushroom tossed in by Saturn fizzled into ash.. The area of impact, turning every so slightly neon green. Taking on the property of the shroom..
Adrian squinted, but ultimately he believed that this won't make much of a difference. Right?
On his heel he spun to the beast before him. "While brief, I appreciate your aid greatly, Beast King Volt. Your kindness, will be remembered and if you ever need a little human like me do call in a favour." A brink given to the beast, he turning to Arnet!
"Wow! You're like a rock wonder woman! That was amazing, Lady Arnet! Elemental magics are quite useful, I will admit.." A hand raising to scratch the back of his head..
"Heh.."
"I thank you, deeply so. I hope this and my son's tutorship under you are a great start for our families to truly bond!"
(Adrian Alinteau)
