Hospice care focuses on comfort and quality of life for those with terminal illnesses.

Contact us to discuss your needs and begin the process.

Both hospice and palliative care focus on comfort and quality of life. However, hospice care is specifically for patients at the end of life, while palliative care can be provided at any stage of a serious illness alongside curative treatment.

Hospice care offers a comprehensive range of services including:

Medical care and pain management: Ensuring the patient is as comfortable as possible.
Emotional and spiritual support: For both patients and their families.
Practical assistance: Help with daily tasks and coordination of care.
Bereavement counseling: Support for family members during and after the patient’s life.

Hospice care is flexible and can be delivered in multiple settings:

At home
In hospice facilities
In long-term care facilities

If a patient’s condition stabilizes or improves, the hospice team may reassess the care plan. Since hospice care is intended for those with a limited life expectancy, an improvement might lead to a change in the type or intensity of care provided.

Hospice care recognizes the emotional toll on families. Services often include counseling, support groups, respite care, and assistance with navigating practical matters such as legal or financial issues.

A typical hospice team is multidisciplinary, including:

Physicians and nurses: Overseeing medical care and pain management.
Social workers and counselors: Offering emotional and practical support.
Chaplains or spiritual advisors: Addressing spiritual needs.
