Armored Core V Xenia Tutorial

So I got past stage 6 on emu, might as well post settings and shit in case anyone else want's to play.
Damn this game is harder than gen 4 in general. No bullshit like old king ending or LR super bosses yet though.
So what do you need:
The game. Pirate it or make ISO of your disc.
XBOX gamepad or any gamepad really, to not fuck with controls like I did.
2 (TWO) versions of Xenia Canary
Whatever is the newest one
1 Very particular build called

If you don't trust me and think it's a virus, go get in on their discord, google it up.
Now that you have two xenia folders go through official quickstart guide.

Now go into
>xenia-canary.config.toml
And change the following lines
>kernel_display_gamma_type = 1
>max_queued_frames=5
>protect_zero = false
>vsync = false
>d3d12_readback_resolve = true
Do it in both folders I guess, though it really matters for the older build.
Run the game in the newest build.
Once gameplay starts, quit the mission.
Register your team and shit, quit.
Now run the game in the older build all the time.
This mumbo jumbo was needed because newest builds broke something and game would crash randomly, but older build, while stable, won't let you register the team name. Somehow.
Basically that's it, plug our xbox pad and play the damn game.
If you have different pad, use x360ce, it's basic shit. Guides are all over the internet.
If you wanna play with KB and mouse, I'll write it up next.
P.S. I did NOT try Verdict Day AT ALL, all of the above is just for ACV.***

\\***this only partially works for Verdict Day. supposedly it has an unavoidable crash at the end of mission 6. possible to play missions past it if you have a save file past that point. below is a link to a 100% save file for this reason.
